This site's success depended on resolving the usability issue, executing standardized XHTML and CSS markup, and creating a "student-centric" design theme.
Campus Life, a department of the University of California's Office of the President, has many areas of responsibility and serves a diverse audience. The contentof its webiste carries a lot of detailed information and consists mainly of resource materials: text documents, rosters, and links to various sites, programs, organizations. The challenge was to organize the content in a logical structure, design clear web architecture, and create consistent navigation to easily guide the user through the veritable maze of information.
The University of California "Student Life" visual theme is used throughout the site. The site's animated menus are fully CSS-driven.
